🧪 SERVICES & PROCESSING
What chemistry and equipment do you use?
We process all color negative films using fresh, professionally-monitored C-41 chemistry on our calibrated Jobo rotary system to ensure perfectly consistent development. Every roll is then scanned on the legendary Pakon F-135 Plus film scanner, optimized for true-to-life colors, rich shadow details, and that authentic, organic film grain.
What film formats do you accept?
Currently, our Grand Opening $12 special covers 35mm and 120 color negative (C-41) films. We handle all major brands including Kodak, Fujifilm, Ilford, and Lomography, as well as expired film rolls.
Do you return the physical negatives?
Yes, absolutely! Your negatives belong to you. After processing and scanning, your negatives will be safely stored and ready for pickup, or we will store and send it back to you after 5 rolls. We highly recommend keeping your negatives as your ultimate analog backup.
What happens if my film roll comes back completely blank?
Don’t worry — blank rolls are actually very common, especially for first-time film shooters! This usually happens when the film doesn’t catch the take-up spool properly in the camera, so it never advanced while shooting. It’s a normal part of the film photography learning curve.
At TAFL, we’ve got you covered:If your roll comes back completely blank, we will give you a Free Develop & Scan coupon for your next roll — no questions asked. We want you to feel confident continuing your film journey without the fear of “wasting” a roll.
How long do you keep my files?
We store your high-resolution files via the archive link for 2 weeks (14 days). Your web gallery, which contains compressed images for easy viewing, will remain active for 3 months. Please make sure to download and safely back up your photos as soon as you receive them, as we cannot guarantee file recovery after the archive link expires.
